Dr. Xiaohong Helena Yang joined Cancer Cell in 2008. She was trained in Carol Greider and Bruce Stillman’s laboratories as a graduate student and received her PhD degree from the molecular genetics program jointly established by Stony Brook University and Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory. Before joining Cell Press, she held positions at several institutions in the US including the Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. At Cancer Cell she handles manuscript submissions and front matter contents in all topic areas covered by the journal.
In additional to her editor role, she is Cell Press’s editorial development advisor, since 2012, with a special focus on China and Asia.
